Or, you may want to begin the VeganStart way with vegan breakfasts, which is a great way to kick-start your day while transitioning to the vegan lifestyle. Or, you may want to go all-in right from the start!

Regardless of where you’re currently at, building a solid foundation of vegan recipes can be a great help, particularly in those first weeks and months. The featured recipes page could be of assistance there.

A lot of resources out there may provide tips for how to transition to a vegan diet, but it really is so much more than that. Although food is a big part of it, it is about more than just food. Being vegan is a lifestyle.
However, learning about the many aspects of veganism doesn’t usually happen overnight, so don’t feel you need to throw out everything you own that may have animal products in it (You may want to though, and that’s fine too – although I would recommend giving the food/clothing away. Plenty of other people could use it!).
Be patient with yourself and the learning process, and don’t hesitate to ask questions.

In particular, it can be difficult navigating the waters when looking to purchase vegan clothing and personal care products. Finding quality companies and useful information can be made easier with sites such as Vegankit, the clothing section is a good place to start.
If you’re looking for eco-friendly clothing sources, you may want to check out Ecouterre, or, if you’re interested in vegan-approved outdoor gear you can likely find what you’re looking for at VeganOutdoorAdventures, along with forums to help answer your questions and for you to get to know other vegan adventurers!

And, of course, food is important. Whether you’re interested in developing your vegan recipe repertoire and/or your awareness of the various aspects of healthy living, there is likely something to fill your need, such as over at the Health Room.
The Ethical Side
While you’re at it, learning about the positive effects your actions will be, and are having can also help to solidify your resolve to continue with this lifestyle.
