  • green beans

  • rolled oats
  • barley flakes
  • herbs & spices: bay leaf, sage, thyme, rosemary, pepper, salt (optional)

Note: For a gluten-free option, you can swap out the barley flakes for more rolled oats (and be sure to use gluten-free oats).

Loaded with root vegetables and (as you can see) pretty well every other autumn vegetable, this stew is a great fall recipe.
