Note: This recipe makes approximately 3 cups.

Ingredients for sweet potato hummus:

  • yam/sweet potato 
  • garlic*
  • salt-free chickpeas/garbanzos, drained (don’t forget to save the liquid)
  • chickpea liquid 
  • apple cider vinegar
  • tahini
  • herbs & spices: cumin, curry powder, smoked paprika, Herbamare or salt (optional), ground pepper
